This is my winter break so far:
I hopped in a subaru that STILL slightly reeks of Joey barfing in it when he was like six, aaaaaaalllll the way to Farmington, MO, which is a short drive from st.louis, to my Grandma's house in the middle of nowhere.
Okay, so it's not too bad, other than I can't kvetch to people over texting, but still it's pretty ummmmm....not kid friendly.
Well...alright. She has a pool table and cooks the fattiest, tastiest food evaar.
Nevermind that. We got there Christmas Eve, took a looong hike, ate junk, opened presents, and stayed until Monday, where we packed up and drove to Hannibal to see my great uncle and Aunt. Apparently, they are my oldest surviving relative on my Dad's Dad's side.
We drove, then stopped at a hotel, where my parents were smart and got two separate rooms so everyone got a bed to themselves. And then in the morning we watched junky cable then drove to my great uncle's house.
They made us a nasty pot roast on styrofoam trays and neon yellow lemonade.
gross. They were really nice though.
we left and drove home.
So there is my winter vacation so far.
A little on the sucky side.
But I did get an iHome.
Which is good, since my old one is hardly compatible with my iPod, and makes crackly noises if you crank it up too loud.
This one is waaay nicer.
Also my parents had another rare stroke of genius when they got me stuff from my favorite online store, ModCloth.
I may or may not put up pictures.
