Molly
Our leading lady, and the writer of the blog. Pessimistic, lonely, and quick to be obsessive. Her art is her outlet for all of her unkempt angst. 14 years old at present.
Andrew
Resident know-it-all. The original Kevin. He's been close friends with Molly since the 6th grade. Ubuntu advocate. "Andy" is also a skilled violinist. 14 years old, but younger than Molly by a few weeks.
Ruth
A resident of Urbana and Molly's best friend. Extroverted, intelligent, artistic, and innovative. Knows more than people realize. Sensible in areas where most people are often not.15 years old.
Max
Older brother. Antisocial, intelligent, and caring. Is a Junior at Uni but still learns more on his own, for fun. Not always the most polite but his intentions are noble. Currently 16 years of age.
Joey
Younger brother. A natural ladies man even at 12 years old. Loud, sensitive, and witty. He is a skilled pianist but fairly lazy acedimically.
Padre
Father. Works too hard and is rarely satisfied with anything. Cares for his family, but goddamn. He's a prick sometimes. Often the subject of rants in this blog. Kind of a corporate-redneck hybrid. Fairly intelligent, but when it comes to connecting with his children, he missed the boat.
